In parallel to my cracking/demoscene and EBM experiments, i felt an intense urge to create something more atmospheric and real world art related. These are my very first 2 live recordings of 1994, which ultimately lead to the manifestation of my aGe2.1 alter ego.

ESSAY AGE's CHILDHOOD was recorded during a very lovely late spring morning on the northern german countryside and features the voices of my kid sister and brother, playing outside in the garden. During recording i had a microphone placed by the window at my parent's house on the countryside, on the first floor, overseeing the front yard.

ESSAY AGE was the original name of the project (derived from S.I.H., my initials), which would eventually become aGe2.1 after i reached the age of 21. Subsequently this project was superseeded by PSAUX in 2015.
